Get more out of what you already pay
As an independent insurance broker I optimise your retirement planning for tax, your health cover for price and benefits, and your company pension for both sides — employer and employee alike.
Most people overpay — and never find out
Tax relief left on the table
Depending on the contract type, retirement contributions can be deducted substantially. Choose the wrong framework and you give away a meaningful sum over the term — without ever noticing.
Premiums are never reviewed
A policy signed once often runs unchanged for decades, while your income, your life and the available tariffs keep moving.
Advice is rarely independent
A tied agent may only offer their own company's products. As a broker I am legally on your side and compare the whole market.
Five areas decide your financial future
Before we talk about any single product, we look at the whole picture. These five fields decide whether your money works for you — or drains away somewhere nobody ever checked.
Tax
Which of your premiums are deductible — and which contract framework gets the most out of them?
Insurance cover
Are you covered where a loss would genuinely hurt — or paying for risks you do not actually carry?
Income protection
Your ability to work funds everything else. What keeps running if it stops?
Wealth & retirement
The state pension replaces only part of your income. How do you close the gap?
Director’s pension
As a shareholding managing director you usually have no statutory cover. A pension commitment builds your retirement provision through the company — with reinsurance and insolvency protection.
Four areas where optimisation genuinely pays
I advise across the full range — from protecting your income to building provision. My focus sits where the gap between good and mediocre advice is largest.
Retirement planning
Pick the right tax framework — so less goes to the tax office today and more reaches you later.

An honest comparison with the statutory system — on premium and on cover, including when switching is not worth it.
Learn moreCompany pension — employers
Meet the statutory subsidy obligation properly, keep administration small and retain staff long term.

What salary conversion really costs you net, what your employer must contribute — and when it actually adds up.

Insurance, explained properly
The guide covers the questions that come up most often — with numbers, worked examples and the counter-arguments most articles leave out.
What you are probably wondering
What does the advice cost me?
The initial call is free and non-binding. As a broker I am normally paid a commission by the insurer — this creates no extra cost for you compared with signing directly. I disclose how I am paid before any recommendation.
What is the difference between a broker and a tied agent?
A tied agent (Versicherungsvertreter) works for one company and may only place its products. A broker (Makler) is legally on your side, has access to the whole market and owes you a needs-based recommendation. This is set out in § 59 VVG.
Do I have to cancel my existing policies?
No — and in many cases that would be a mistake. Older contracts often contain terms no longer available today. I check what is worth keeping first. We only switch where the advantage is demonstrable.
Do you advise in English?
Yes. Consultations, documents and correspondence can run in English. Please note that insurance policies themselves are issued in German by the insurers — I go through the relevant clauses with you.
Do you work outside my region?
Yes. Advice, analysis and signing run fully digitally by video call and electronic signature — anywhere in Germany.
